Just before we look into the attributes of honesty, we need to understand what an attribute is.
An attribute will imply that 'something is the result of a specific thing'. For instance, when you pass your examination, you may say that your exam success is attributed to the hard work that had been put towards it.

When a person is honest with his dealings, he will earn the loyalty of people.
Take for instance; honesty is a key factor required by a business man or woman in order to gain loyal customers. This is true because the customers would have gained a high level of confidence in patronizing them since they trust in their product or services.

A person is said to be reliable when he or she is trusted and dependable. Your status of being a dependable person is based on your level of honesty.
If you are trusted and dependable by a large number of people, then there is a very high chance that you have been honest with your dealings.
On the contrary, if one isn't trusted by the people around him or her; it may imply that he or she is quite a dishonest person.
There is this saying that goes thus:
Everyone deserves a benefit of doubt.
Whenever we are given the benefit of doubt, we need to be very honest with such benefit because it could be an excellent opportunity for something great in the future.

Trustfulness will always go alongside with honesty.
The security department of some countries would have been more formidable if the police, army and navy were honest in the discharge of their respective duties.
Unfortunately, I have seen some policemen collect bribes openly; and for this reason, the citizens may incorrectly classify all of them as dishonest.
Based on the above fact, not all persons in police uniforms are trusted in Nigeria as a result of perceived dishonesty among some of them.
A person will be considered to be trustworthy when he or she had shown the quality of being good, sincere, honest and reliable. Consequently, people who have shown some level of honesty will eventually become trustworthy.
Trustworthiness can earn you recommendations and promotions in an organization. Also, it can provide you with a much larger responsibility which could mean more pay and more authority.
Integrity simply means the quality of being honest and having strong moral principle.
Your integrity and reputation increases over a period of time when honesty has been consistently displayed.

If majority of the citizens of a country are shady and dishonest, especially to other countries of the world, the integrity of the people and even the country may be put at stake. The country can become labeled as corrupt even though there may still be present some very honest citizens living within and outside of it.
In summary, the citizens can bring integrity to their nation through the practice of honesty and hard work.

It is noteworthy to state that integrity is earned and honesty is one of its key.
One who is satisfied with whatever he or she has is said to be content. However, it is good to be ambitious but this should be done with honesty.
As an instance, the popular slang 'yahoo boy' which is often used in Nigeria refers to people who are not content with what they have, thus are becoming overly ambitious, dishonest and shady in their cyber activities.
No matter how bad the situation may be, we must be honest towards achieving any dream we have got. In this regard, honesty is therefore crucial in the global reputation of a country.
Honest people are always transparent in all their dealings. Being transparent means: 'we should be truthful, open, and upright in whatever we do'.

A citizen has the following rights:
You have the entire right and privileges as defined in your country’s law.
No one can take away your citizenship.
You can hold a passport from your country of citizenship.
You can pass your citizenship to your children.
You don’t have to fulfill any minimum stay to become a citizen.
Provided you have the passport of your country of citizenship, you are free to travel to any country which your country has travel agreement with.
You can have dual citizenship.
A legal resident in a country has the following attributes within that country:
They must provide their bio-metric information.
They can enter their country of residence on many occasions. However, when they break any of the residents’ status, they may be denied further entry into the country of residence.
They are able to freely live, study, work and travel within their country of residence.
They will still utilize their international passport (from their country of citizenship) for travels, but not their resident card or permit.
They can become a resident after fulfilling their stay requirement. As an instance, one may become a resident when they had lived for 10 years in a country without any issues.
They can only naturalize (become a citizen) after faithfully living as a resident throughout the required number of years.
They can lose their residential status when convicted for serious crimes.
